A school with 150 years of Academic excellence also has over 100 years of Athletic excellence. Dating back to 1907, St. John’s has one of the strongest Athletic Programs on the East Coast. A member of the Big East Conference, St. John’s has proudly been involved since the conference’s inception. St. John’s games are also held at some of the best venues here in New York! Belson Stadium is home to St. John’s Men’s and Women’s Soccer, our Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams in addition to our Women’s Volleyball team call Carnesecca Arena home (named after Lou Carnesecca, the winningest basketball coach in St. John’s history), and St. John’s famed Jack Kaiser Stadium is home to our Men’s Baseball team (named after Jack Kaiser, Hall of Fame Baseball Coach and former Director of Athletics at St. John’s). St. John’s Men’s Basketball also plays multiple home games every season at Madison Square Garden, the World’s Most Famous Arena. WE ARE ST. JOHN’S!
